If you haven’t already heard, or read on the My Community Manager blog, the 7th Annual Community Manager Appreciation Day (#CMAD) is January 25, 2016 and we are really excited!
What I’m most excited about is how many amazing community professionals are volunteering their time and skills to help make this day so great. Please take some time to wander over to our team page and get to know them!
Community Manager Appreciation Day 2013 consisted of 12 hours of live hangouts with 86 speakers from 7 different countries. In 2014, we were able to expand CMAD to 24 hours with 147 speakers representing 17 countries. In 2015, we continued with 24 hours featuring 132 speakers from 13 countries. What can we accomplish together in 2016?
If you want to play a role in representing the diversity of community management, please let us know how you’d like to participate. This day isn’t about a small team; it’s about helping out our entire industry.
No matter how you choose to be involved in CMAD, if you haven’t already done so, be sure to share your story on how you became a community manager.
Let us know if you have any questions/suggestions—this is your day!
