Live video broadcasting isn’t new, #CMGRHangout has been using it for years, but in 2015 the world of live video saw new twists. From the explosion of Meerkat during South by Southwest to the rollout and growth of Periscope to the use of Blab for community discussions, interactive video is taking center stage. So how can we use live streaming to build and grow community? Join us to discuss strategies for success as well as thoughts on what the future holds.

Panelists

Dawn CarterDawn Carter

Dawn has bridged the gap between brand and customers over the course of her 25 years in strategic planning and marketing. An early tech adopter, she mixes training, hospitality and tech to help brands connect with customers. She helps clients navigate social media, livetweets events and blogs about Twitter chat best practices. When not championing do-gooders or spouting social media tips, she advocates for aged-out foster youth. She consistently embarrasses her 3 teenagers by jumping onto the latest tech, rendering it uncool. Her husband of 28 years deserves a medal. Her kids, not so much.
