Reflections on Community Manager Appreciation Day 2016

150 Flares 150 Flares ×

We had a short 22 minute minute recap at the end of Community Manager Appreciation Day, which I recommend watching if you’d like to hear our (slightly delirious) favorite moments. More importantly, you can hear from Ichi, Ben and Christine about the CMAD meetups they organized or were part of.

However, as a Community Manager, I know you guys like numbers. Our business objective, if you will, in hosting these 24 hours of panels is to reach as many people as possible to educate them on the community industry. Thank you so much to every single one of you who participated in this co-creating knowledge hackathon. You matter.

CMAD Panels

Our 109 panelists during the live broadcast represented 17 different countries:

  • Australia
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Finland
  • France
  • India
  • Ireland
  • Japan
  • Mexico
  • The Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Russia
  • Singapore
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

We can’t even begin to express our gratitude for every single panelist, organizer and sponsor. We had volunteers for panel organizers, the awards committee, meetup outreach, editorial coordinators and media outreach.

Every single one of you rocks(They really do, go follow them from that list.)
